Houston Methodist has opened a new state-of-the-art medical facility in Cypress, Texas, with Xվ������ playing a key role in its delivery. 

Xվ������ provided project management and construction management (PM/CM) services under the leadership of the Houston Methodist Design and Construction Department. is designed to meet the healthcare needs of the rapidly growing Cypress community.

The $685 million project spans 570,000 square feet and includes a seven-story hospital, two six-story medical office buildings totaling 160,000 square feet each, and a renovated central utility plant. The hospital is fully 5G-wired and features cutting-edge technology, including patient-controlled room settings via voice commands. The facility is also equipped with a da Vinci 5 surgical robot, allowing for minimally invasive procedures that promote quicker recovery times and reduce the risk of infection. The hospital opened earlier this year, marking a significant milestone for the Cypress community. With the area experiencing substantial population growth, the new facility provides much-needed healthcare services.

The hospital opened with 100 licensed beds, nine operating rooms and nine imaging modalities, offering comprehensive care for patients. It also features an emergency department, critical care unit and birthing center to address a wide range of medical needs.

Xվ������ worked closely with Houston Methodist and other stakeholders to deliver the hospital ahead of schedule, enabling early activation and use of the facility.
